Across two projects I’ve been associated with AVID, Sami, Nadz and their team were resolute in their integrity, communication, and care. No abandoned worksites; misconstrued objectives or ‘surprise’ extras. Attention to detail and pride in seeking perfection for their clients made me feel like they were building their own home. With a background in carpentry, it was no surprise that they could see the big picture but didn’t miss the finer details that complete any endeavour.

In my experience with both gentlemen, it’s not only a case of what you see is what you get – what you get is professionalism that feels like it harks back to a simpler time when service providers were masters of their trade. AVID live up to this ethos.

With the boys being Hands On during the length of the build is a huge asset. When walking through the build at different stages and being able to draw on their years of experience and outstanding knowledge of new building products and practises you know you are in good hands.

I am constantly amazed at the quality of workmanship throughout the project build. I cannot fault the service, dedication, and effort for pure perfection, thru the whole build time start to finish.

Avid Construction’s modest renovation of our Bronte semi detached house was a successful build from start to finish.
Brothers Nadeem and Sam are proud builders. They were both on site every day and led their tightly knit team and tradesmen with attention to detail and a positive approach to all aspects of construction, skills which have been passed down by their father.

As an architect, I had high quality expectations for my own house and they were uncompromising in delivering a consistently high standard, to a competitive budget.

They worked collaboratively from start to finish and were quick to identify solutions to the few issues that arose during construction with their open communication style.

Avid was very flexible with our staging and additional variation requests which were proactively integrated into their workflow. I would highly recommend Avid Construction to potential future residential clients.

I was referred to AVID Constructions when another company let us down a few days prior to commencement of our alterations. AVID Constructions were very professional in every aspect during the consultation and the build. The attention to detail and workmanship of all trades was to the highest standard. We have been so happy with the final renovations and ease of communicating with Nadeem and Sami that we have had them renovate/build further projects. I highly recommended them.

It seems rare these days that you find builders with such an eye for detail and mind for delivering quality, but Avid is one of them. Not exactly traditional, but definitely ‘old school’ in their attitude to workmanship and the trades; where getting things level, square and flush are fundamentals of the job, not optional extras. Having watched Nadz and Sami work, I can attest to their skill and adherence to simply getting it done and done right.

Would I use Avid again? Absolutely, and recommended them to others also.

We had Avid constructions build our dream home, and I never regretted the decision. From the day we began building the communication between them and us was great, we were informed daily of any issues with a resolution and a forthcoming plan.

The AVID Construction team built my house about 10 years ago, the precision and perfectionist skills from the team have stood the test of time.

This is not just a job for Sami and Nadeem, this is their craft and passion which I witnessed in full motion. My fondest memory is when the boys were building the main feature of my home – the outdoor entertainment area. They used quality materials – Australian hardwood and steel frames, the accuracy of every screw and the gap between the hardwood boards measured for precision and alignment.

AVID built my family home and when I reflect on that time it always brings back fond memories of a collaborative and exciting project.

The staff at avid construction renovated our dream home in North Bondi which felt like an easy 6 months. From the moment we started to the day we moved in, their staff were there to help us each step of the way.

Their attention to detail is impeccable, we knew the quality in their work would be outstanding just hearing how passionate they spoke when explaining a way they were going to install certain elements of the house and achieve the look we were after.

There were plenty of changes and obstacles throughout the project as it was an old home built on sand. Avid were really good at making sure we fixed a lot of the hidden problems and helped us stay within our budget.

Overall it was an easy experience, and we were not only amazed with the end result but know it was built to last.
